Welcome to Humanity is Every One Person (HEOP)
What is Compassion?
Compassion is having empathy or sympathy towards your fellow humans. It is hoping for the general welfare for another person. It is one of the great virtues. I believe that Compassion is not taught explicitly. It is something that one acquires by good example.
When one sees another act compassionately, it leaves an indelible
impression that make you feel good.. If compassion is indeed acquired by those who witness it, the best that we can do to share and spread compassion is to be good ambassadors of compassion.
We much at compassionately towards as many as we
possibly can in order to grow the community of compassionate humans. Compassion affects decision- making by forcing you to understand how your decision will affect other people.
Decisions are easy to make if the consequences for that decision
only affect the one making that decision. Decision before infinitely more difficult when one considers both the negative and positive consequences for all the people that will be affected by the decision being made.
I would never consider removing compassion from my character. Compassion serves as a moral compass that helps guide me to make the "right" decisions.

About
HEOP
Humanity Is Every One Person (HEOP) was founded in 2018 by Frank Derell Vaughn and developed
through lived experience, structured learning, and real-world application. Frank Derell Vaughn is the
founder, creator, and original developer of HEOP. The program was developed within a correctional
setting and built through consistent engagement, leadership, and direct work with individuals
experiencing mental health challenges. HEOP was created as a structured, peer-based program
designed to support individuals through engagement, accountability, compassion, and behavioral
understanding. It operated with consistency and participation, helping individuals improve how they
think, respond, and interact with others. The program was not theoretical. It was implemented in real
conditions, where individuals were actively working through behavioral, emotional, and mental health
challenges. Through structured participation, HEOP created an environment where individuals could
develop awareness, responsibility, and personal growth. Over time, HEOP demonstrated real impact
through consistent engagement, peer support, and structured application. It contributed to improved
interaction, accountability, and stability among participants. Today, HEOP continues as a structured
program model designed to be applied across multiple environments, including correctional settings,
community programs, educational spaces, and professional training environments. HEOP brings
together lived experience, structure, and practical application to support meaningful and lasting change.
